It's finally happening! We're in it for life! Come join us as we celebrate our union in a place that embodies our relationship. This historic mountain
retreat is nestled high in the Big Horn Mountains, right on the border of the Cloud Peak Wilderness Area. Built in 1913, this beautiful location is not
only steeped in history, but is the perfect place for us to start our adventure together.
About our wedding/venue:
Some of the best hiking and scenery in the US, as well as ATV trails and fishing
Secluded, quiet, and in the backcountry; there is no cell service
Our wedding reception (and after party!) will feature an open bar, games, bonfire, music, dancing, and more!
Guests can lounge in one of the many hammocks, hike, fish, canoe, paddleboard, or book a horseback trailride! Plus much more.
If you choose to stay with us for one or two nights, all food will be provided.
Rooms
While we will take your requested cabin into consideration, we can not guarantee a specific cabin. We will do our absolute best to assign a cabin
we think you will love! If you choose a glamping tipi, we can guarantee that will be yours. RV Hookups are also available, as is camping in the nearby
camping areas. If go that route, breakfast and dinner can be included for a fee.
All rooms include full hot breakfast and dinners each day. Also includes buckets o' fun since you'll be at an amazing place with amazing people!
Most rooms also include a private bathroom, although two of the larger family cabins have two shared bathrooms each.
The drive to Sheridan is about 70-90min and the road is not great to drive at night. We bought out the entire resort so our guests have an awesome,
laid back time, and stay out as long as they want on the wedding night!
Horseback riding, guided fly fishing trips, and amazing hiking trails are all available. If you would like to book a trail ride or guided trip,
checkout the options under "Reserve". Watercraft and beautiful hiking trails are available to all guests! We'll have a list of our fav hikes available.
6 tipis are available. This is the REAL adult "summer glamp" experience. Tipis have flooring, lights, dressers, firepits, and heaters. Shared shower house & bathrooms.
Cots or air mattresses; please specify which you would prefer.
We bought out the entire resort to ensure that our guests had rooms close to the wedding, at a reduced rate. While we are covering most expenses,
we are asking that guests who wish to stay at Spear-O with us cover a part of their lodging expenses. Local hotels are included for your consideration as well.
All bookings include a full hot breakfast and dinner every day, plus a stay at a gorgeous location with tons of fun and relaxing things to do.
Want to relax on the sandy lakeside beach? Take a nap in a forest hammock? Hangout with a moose? Take a hike to a gorgeous lake?
If you would rather stay in Sheridan (again, a 70-90min drive down a dirt Forest Service Road), we also have a couple discounted room rates.
Camping (RV or tent) is also an option, and includes all meals for $70. RV hookups are an additional $25 for the entire stay. There is also free camping
spots in the National Forest right next to Spear-O-Wigwam.
